Rotor blades are exposed to extreme weather conditions throughout their service life – rain, sand, hail and salt cause surface damage that can impair the aerodynamics and reduce energy yields. RENOLIT EP provides reliable protection against erosion and extends the service life of the rotor blades. The film is transparent, UV-resistant and has been specially developed for quick, precise repairs in the field. The film‘s ice-resisting (anti-ice) function is currently being tested in pilot projects. Initial field data shows the potential to significantly reduce ice-related downtime – results will be published after completion of the pilot phase.
